alternatively, you can get a Radeon RX 470/480/570/570X/580/580X and use ATI drivers (just cope with shit performance, no sleep/suspend/wakeup, and no gpu brightness-control), or cope with not having 3d support.
i havent tested AMD GPUs but if anyone can confirm that 3d werks without firmware, please let me know.
